My commitment to keep you updated on the recent happenings around revolves around a true life but embarrassing happening. After the protracted ill-health and death of Late Pontiff John Paul II, I happened to be in a gathering where the leader in his opening prayer summoned the members in these words, “Please, silently pray for the quick recovery of our sick Pope”, With this request, there was a potpourri of reactions among the members especially among those who are info-updated. The reactions are based on the fact that the Pope had already been dead two weeks before the uninformed request from the uninformed leader.
